At the foot of the Wind Turbines

Two walking paths converge partly to offer two hiking circuits in the heart of the Lorraine countryside, one of 4.3 km and the other of 11.4 km.

This first circuit of 4.3 km, "At the Foot of the Wind Turbines," will take you on a picturesque route along the old road, formerly known as "La Chaussée de Bombelles." This path offers a unique blend of history, nature, and modernity.

As you stroll, you will cross a large peaceful straight stretch, away from the main roads, with a view of the majestic wind turbines already rising in the fields in the distance. Along the way, you will pass at the foot of these imposing wind turbines, feeling suddenly small in their presence.

The route will also lead you into the Schorrwald forest, where a small shady and pleasant path will immerse you in the heart of nature. Just beyond the forest, a rest area, accessible upon request from the town hall, invites you to take a pleasant break sheltered by trees, not far from the starting and finishing point of the circuit.

- Alternative: You also have the option to take a second, longer circuit, "La Chaussée de Bombelles" (11.4 km). Four junctions with the first route allow you to make detours of your choice.
