Hiking trail the hermitage of Brother Joseph

A magnificent hike starting from the Azureva holiday center, which will allow you to appreciate the Vosgian forests in all their beauty and mystery.....At the parking lot, go up the paved road, at the entrance of the woods take the wide path that goes up to the left (green rectangle marking). After 250m, leave this forest path, take the trail that goes up to the right (green rectangle). Continue straight, crossing 3 wide paths successively over 750m. Upon reaching the 4th path, take it to the right, following the same marking (green rectangle). After 800m you have the option to follow the trail on your right (blue ring marking “Hermit's Cross”) to see the Hermit's Cross, this loop extends the route by 1km and comes out 200m after the Forgoutte Chalet. Otherwise, continue straight and 200m after this fork, pass in front of the Forgoutte chalet (possible stop). 200m further on, pass by a wooden cross known as the “Brother Joseph Cross” which is on your right. About 100m further, leave the green rectangle marking to take the direction indicated by the sign “Direct to Brother Joseph” with the blue ring marking. Follow it down for 1km to the Brother Joseph Inn (food available). There is an option to visit the chapel located at the end of the clearing. For the return, the starting point is located at the corner of the Inn at the edge of the forest. Take the path indicated “Col du Collet”, following the blue disc marking. After 400m you will pass near a viewpoint with a view of the village of Ventron (blue disc). After about 600m, leave the forest path and take the quick trail that goes up to the right towards “Col du Collet 700m”, blue disc. (Do not take the trail indicating “Hermit's Cross” with the blue ring). At Col du Collet, take the path that goes down to the right towards “Col de Rochelotte”, marked with a blue horse. At the bottom of the quick descent of the trail, take the forest path to the right towards “Col de Rochelotte”, red disc. After 1.800km arrive at the Rochelotte Chalet, turn left towards “Bussang via Larcenaire” for 1.200km. This forest path (green-white-green rectangle marking) will bring you back to the parking lot.
