Hiking - the pudding stones and the tocquaine rock

Access: From the center of Remiremont, pass in front of the hospital, head towards Le Val-d'Ajol, then at the exit of the city, turn left towards Girmont-Val-d'Ajol.
Parking: Chalet des Gardes

Distance: 4.7 km / Duration: 1 h 30 / Elevation gain: 115 m / Markings: yellow ring.

1) Start in front of the parking lot following the blue disk, until you reach Roche Tocquaine (be careful during the descent, the marking goes onto a path to the left).
2) Continue descending and after Goutte du Founot, turn left following the green disk. At the junction, make a short detour to Roche du Renard (a few meters away).
3) Follow the green disk, cross various marked paths, and continue until you reach an ascending path marked with a yellow ring. Follow it for almost its entire length along an old railway line (an old 60 cm gauge from 1915) until you return to Chalet des Gardes.
