From Lock No. 31, the starting point of this loop, you will take the Voie Bleue along the Eastern Canal. After a journey through the streets of Charmes, you will head towards Brantigny, then Bouxurulles via little-used back roads amid rolling agricultural landscapes. Your journey will then take you through the streets of Rugney, a small Vosges village of 130 souls with a tranquil charm, before returning to Charmes.
