Parking: D67a road by the left turn, 100 m before the Verte Vallée campsite, parking on the right between the road and the bike path.
Route: Take the path that crosses the Vologne marked with a red cross until the Retournemer waterfall. Continue along the path and go around the Retournemer lake. Shortly after the barrier of the forest road, turn right and follow the red triangle markings until the Charlemagne waterfall (10 min. of steep ascent). Return the way you came.
Weather conditions may make this route impassable.
