Circuit le Hazot XT No. 8

Thank you to the French Federation of Hiking and to Xertigny in Transition for the creation of this hike and the work done by its teams throughout the year to mark and maintain these paths. Waymarking: yellow rectangle no. 8. This circuit, half shared between forested areas and farms, offers a great variety of viewpoints on both natural elements and the marks left by humans over time. Park at the Woodies parking lot on Rue de la Vallée de l'Aître. The circuit can be walked in both directions by following waymarking 08. This route crosses the Epinal Belfort railway line in two places; it passes under the Moulin Maurt Viaduct and offers a nice viewpoint of Xertigny upon arrival when going counter-clockwise. The Woodies site is a lovely place to welcome a vacation by the water; it was designed by the Epinal region and the municipality of Xertigny to enhance the possibilities of using beech in construction.
