Fountains and washing places are the witnesses of peasant life in the West Vosges in the 19th century. Some "guéoirs" still exist; they are large basins where horses would drink after work. These local monuments, made of stone, wood, or metal, have survived in villages like Pleuvezain, which has three fountains, including a monumental washing fountain erected in 1832, later complemented by two others.
This walk will take you to the viewpoint of Moussemont, which offers a beautiful view of the village of Soncourt.
