Its name was easy to find, as the goal of this beautiful outing is the venerable Abbey of l'Etanche, in a mystical environment blessed by hikers. The trail leaves the highly visited medieval village of Hattonchâtel, runs through the "Fond de la Joyeuse" and then the Gérardin fountain and its ponds, before discovering, as a final touch, the 12th-century abbey.
