Hiking - the top of Bellevue

Access: From Remiremont, cross the Val-d'Ajol to the Town Hall.
Parking: Park at the Town Hall square and go to the Hiking House.

Distance: 6 km / Duration: 2 hrs 30 mins / Elevation: 170m / Marking: Blue ring.

1) Start from the Val-d'Ajol Hiking House, follow the road to the right, then right again onto the Plombières road. Pass the basketball court then the Combeauté river and cross the De Buyer Bridge. Turn right and continue for 200m on the D23 towards Fougerolles, then a street on the left towards the hamlet of Fricounot (chalot, fountain, calvary).
2) Go up a grassy path on the left. Continue towards the forest on a steeper path to the right. At the edge of the woods, follow the fence along a narrow trail and reach the top of the hill (beautiful panorama towards Haute-Saône and Haute Marne).
3) Back on the asphalt, follow a communal path on the left serving some isolated farms in the middle of cherry and plum orchards.
4) At Moulin Banvoie (a place with a calvary from 1678), follow the road to St Bresson to the right for 500m, until the next bend. Take the left path that goes between two old farms and reaches the center of the village via the old brewery la Gerbe d'Or, whose beer production stopped in 1943.
