In the Oise, Autumn is also a river! And its valley is so rich in churches that it is nicknamed the "valley of 35 bell towers". You start the visit of this religious heritage at Chevrières (remarkable stained glass windows), then cross the Oise river in the direction of Compiègne. A few kilometres in the forest, and you cross other pretty bell towers on the Valois plateau.
