From Tracy-le-Mont on the French rearguard, via the Zouaves Mound and the German-occupied villages of Nampcel, Moulin-sous-Touvent, Autrêches and Attichy, this trail lets you walk in the footsteps of the soldiers who fought there.
This great trail takes you to the plateaux of the Oise Soissonnaise. The scene of bloody confrontations in 1914 and 1915 during the Battle of Quennevières, this plateau saw tens of thousands of soldiers die. Numerous French and German relics remain to remind us of this terrible conflict.
Various information panels can be found along the way, on the Tracy-le-Mont, Nampcel and Autrêches circuits, and in the village of Moulin-sous-Touvent.
