On the hillside, Clermont watches over the last escarpments of the Paris Basin. Stroll through the old town before setting off along the Arré valley which leads you to Bresles (former residence of the Bishops of Beauvais). Further on, the forest of Hez-Froidmont is home to a statue of Saint-Louis: the sovereign is said to have been born in the castle of La Neuville-en-Hez!
