In addition to a strange castle gate and a listed church, Soupir brings together four military cemeteries of different nationalities. The hike features four interpretive panels with audio links allowing for an immersion in the history of the village. The route also follows for a few dozen meters the German trench "Tirpitz," to experience life as a soldier in the Great War. Finally, the variant allows for a single glance over the entire Aisne Valley and its villages.
