A new version of "visitors" to walk and discover the anecdotes, heritage and wealth of Gannes or rather "Galnae"!
This circuit will make you discover each period of the history of Gannes. A booklet made by Thierry Van Gasse for the Comité des Fêtes de Gannes in 1998 is available on the official website of the commune. It is an undeniable resource to enlighten you throughout this journey. On your way to the past, you will find the church of Saint Denis with its sundial, the chapel of Notre Dame de bon secours, the chimneys of the old brickworks, the old railway station with a panel on the history of the Senegalese infantrymen, the site of a bomber crash in the old Amiens road, now called "le chemin de l'épinette" and many other discoveries...
