The charm of the forested village of Vieux-Moulins lies in its stone houses, the church of Saint-Mellon with its original belfry of oriental connotation, the Pavillon Eugénie and the ru de Berne which runs through it
The northern slope of Mont Saint-Mard conceals a megalithic monument called the Turning Stone or Pierre Torniche. Legend has it that this stone makes a revolution on itself at midnight on Christmas Eve. Underneath this dolmen, a burial vault was unearthed during the Second Empire. The flint tools and 18 skeletons dating from 2500 to 1700 B.C. are kept in the Musée de l'Homme in Paris
The name "Pierre qui tourne" has now become "gourmet" because it has been taken over by a local and organic biscuit factory, established in Attichy.
