As its name suggests, Laversine (in Latin Lapicidina) evokes the stone quarries exploited since Roman times, which have contributed to the prosperity of the village. Located in the bucolic valley of the Retz stream, the former mill, transformed into an electric plant at the beginning of the century, is currently converted into a guesthouse. A walk in the duchy of Gabrielle d'Estrées, which emerged in Coeuvres at the end of the 16th century.
