For the record, "between Catillon and Fumechon, there is not enough to plant an onion so the border between the 2 is thin," it is certainly why in 1960 these 2 municipalities have merged to give the village of Catillon-Fumechon.
Discovery of the heritage
- the Church of Saint Nicolas (16th century) with its 2 bells, one from 1832 called Louise Gabrielle and the other from 1849 called Marie Françoise. In 2007, an unusual initiative, the town hall and the church become one. The town hall is installed within the building, which had been abandoned for fifty years. The nave houses the council room, while the mayor's office is under the bell tower
- The Church of Saint Lucien in Fumechon and its water tower dating from 1939,
- Its small heritage, namely 3 old wells, 7 calvaries and 1 cross.
