From the banks of the Surmelin to those of the Marne, where some herons sometimes take flight, the path leads to the church of Mézy, a concentration of Gothic Art between fields and rivers. The polishing stone of the wood of Grès (eleven grooves, eighteen depressions and basins), visible on the circuit, is also called "the stone of the Cossacks."
