Voie verte de Beauvais à Clermont

This greenway follows the forest paths of the magnificent beech-oak forest of Hez-Froidmont. Currently managed by the ONF, this forest, like most others in the Isère region, has royal ancestry. Along the way, you'll see a statue of Saint-Louis watching over the village of La Neuville en-Hez. Indeed, the sovereign is said to have been born in the castle of this peaceful village.

Stop off at the charming little town of Bresles! Discover its many monuments, including the 13th-century château-fort, now the town hall but formerly the residence of the bishops of Beauvais. Admire the 10th-century church of Saint-Gervais et Saint Prothais, with its Carolingian nave. Stroll through the town's narrow streets and lick the windows of its various shops.

En route, stop off at the town of Clermont, which boasts a beautiful 13th-century church, a town hall with atypical architecture and a very pleasant town center!
