The association "Juin 18, mémoire des chars" (June 18, memory of the tanks) offers a historical tour of the Battle of Matz to commemorate the attack of 11 June 1918 which took place on the plateau between Mery-la-Bataille and Ressons-sur-Matz. This was the deadliest engagement, on a single day, for French tanks. Out of 169 tanks, 51% were destroyed....
