The GR® 1 runs for over 550 km around the Ile-de-France region, with around 15 km in the Oise between Orry-la-Ville and Ermenonville in the Chantilly and Ermenonville forests, passing through the Comelle ponds and the Butte aux Gens d?Armes, and near the villages of Montgrésin, Potarmé and Thiers-sur-Thève.
