Start your journey by crossing the Traspy Valley. You will then leave Thury-Harcourt to reach Esson by the Neuville and then the Vallée des Vaux, a real green setting. Cross the Orne on the Pont de la Mousse and go up to the Bois de Culey by the chemin de la Vigne. At the end of the wood, the village of St Martin de Sallen then the chapel of St Joseph at the top of the Col de St Martin before going back down the hill to the banks of the Orne.
