The tour of the 11 most beautiful villages in France : Stage N°7 : Rignac - Capdenac-Gare

Between limestone plateaus and valleys, mountains and gorges, this route will introduce you to the 11 Most Beautiful Villages of Aveyron, including Estaing in the wonderful and verdant Lot Valley, Najac overlooking the Aveyron Gorges, or else Conques and its treasure...From high plateaus of Aubrac to the Tarn Gorges, this circuit covers the entire department. From medium to difficult level, this route alternates between challenges throughout the trip.

Stage :
The penultimate stage of the tour, continue smoothly across the Rignacois and Montbazens plateaus. A multitude of tourist sites are located along the way ! First, Bournazel Castle, the only Renaissance castle in Aveyron, then the medieval village of Peyrusse-le-Roc. Enjoy the opportunity to walk to the high towers of the "Roc del Thaluc" and admire the view of the Villefranche rift.
After that, you reach the listed village of Villeneuve, perched on its limestone plateau, with its curious architectural duality. Finally, you land gently in the Lot Valley before ending your stage in the Cité du Rail, Capdenac-gare.
