Between limestone plateaus and valleys, mountains and gorges, this route will introduce you to the 11 Most Beautiful Villages of Aveyron, including Estaing in the wonderful and verdant Lot Valley, Najac overlooking the Aveyron Gorges, or else Conques and its treasure...From high plateaus of Aubrac to the Tarn Gorges, this circuit covers the entire department. From medium to difficult level, this route alternates between challenges throughout the trip.
Stage :
For this final stage, you'll largely follow the green Lot Valley. This stage remains generally very accessible, except 3 areas with significant elevation gain. you'll discover the sumptuous listed villages of Conques and Estaing, and you'll complete this tour in Entraygues-sur-truyère. Along the way, have a break at the Terra d'Olt scenic area in St-Parthem (very pretty village). Be curious in St-Cyprien-sur-Dourdou, the miller might be at work...
