From the edge of Lake Vouglans to the balconies that overlook it, this beautiful hike traverses a site transformed by the dam, where one also discovers vegetation, ruins, and legends. Lake Vouglans is the 3rd largest artificial lake in France. This 35 km long serpent was created during the construction of the Vouglans dam in 1968. Its level thus varies with the seasons and the needs of EDF. However, it always remains at its highest during the summer.
