Brancion: you will leave the medieval village of Brancion, famous for its castle and its cobbled streets.
Mont Saint-Romain: after a steady climb, you will reach the summit of Mont Saint-Romain. From there, you will enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the Clunysois, the Monts du Mâconnais, and, in clear weather, the Alps.
Blanot: as you descend from Mont Saint-Romain, you will pass through the village of Blanot, known for its caves. You can choose to visit these natural cavities, which bear witness to human occupation since prehistoric times.
Cluny: the last part of the hike will lead you to Cluny, famous for its Benedictine abbey, one of the largest in the West. You will thus be able to complete your journey by visiting this major historic monument.
