In front of the castle, follow the moats. Cross over to the De Lattre de Tassigny parking lot, go around the tanneries pond. Climb up to Place Rambuteau, a beautiful viewpoint of the castle; then take the central street to Saint Avoye chapel; go up the path to the right of the building, climb the hill of Rue de la Poste, to reach the Lovers' path, then Rue des Jardins, from where you will have a view of the Dun mountain. Go back down towards the promenade via Rue du Vieux Chêne and then Marano Equo, and join the castle via the promenade.
