The Mongin wood

Take the street to the right of the square (towards the town hall, rose garden). At the fork, go up left. At the perpendicular crossing, turn left. When the street bends to the right, leave it and take the path slightly to the left. Follow it straight ahead. It descends towards the Canche river. At the river, turn left, take the footbridge. Continue until the D978 route de Château-Chinon. Turn right, pass in front of the sawmill. After 50m, cross the road and take the path in front. After 300m of steep slope, the path bends left and climbs to a small road. Follow this road to the left to reach Grand Mizieux.
In the hamlet, after the second house on the left (long building), go down the alley to join a small paved road. Follow it to the left. At the well, continue straight along the grassy path that descends towards Celle-en-Morvan, first gently then quickly until a wood deposit area. Cross it to find a paved road that you take to the left until the cemetery.
Come in front of the cemetery and follow the wall on the right to find the old sunken path (avoid the often muddy wood area). Continue straight along the path parallel to the river.
At Planche St Agnan, one can, by taking the footbridge to the left, cross the Canche and directly reach the village. Otherwise, continue straight following the valley until the Mériaux farm. Pass through the courtyard and take the paved road.
After 200m, take the path on the left. It leads to the D978 near the bakery-grocery store. Cross the D978 and follow road D2, direction Anost. After a few meters, turn left in front of the school. At the first intersection, turn left again, passing the Rose Garden and the Town Hall. Continue straight to reach the square of March 19, 1962.
