Mine Circuit

At the starting point of the square, in front of the restaurant, walk along the petanque court and football field on the left, then to the right and cross the Sornin, on your left lies the Lac de la mine. Just after, on the left, the site of the old coal mine closed in 1960. After "Les Perrières", on the right, take the path of "La Plantée". Cross the road and continue on the left path, known as the Puits Neuf. On the right, remains of the entrance to the Puits Neuf, after a small slope, on the road of "La Côte d'Or", turn right, view of the village of Saint Laurent en Brionnais, cross "Les Chaffauds", at "Fromental", on the right towards "La Sarrandière", downhill, beautiful scenery: the hill of Dun, the Old Village, the Quarry... Lower down, on the left, the path that leads you to "La Place" to join the path of "Les Crottes" which you descend to reach the Gothard waterfall near the old fish farm. Retrace your steps back to the road of "La Sarrandière" and continue the descent to "Les Coptiers". Path to the right and pass by the farm bordered by 2 ponds. Return to the village by the same path as you came.
