The Fountain of the Headless Rooster 11km

1•From the swimming pool parking lot, turn right and then descend towards the village and the fountain of the "Headless Rooster". Go around the fountain and turn right towards the Cordonnet. Pass the ponds on your left and continue uphill until the village exit. Turn left and enter the woods. Continue until the hamlet of Rochefort, leaving the round fountain in your path.
2•Upon arriving in Rochefort, turn right and follow the markers to the magnificent viewpoint (La Dame blanche to the South and the Monts-de-Gy to the West).
3•Then descend towards the South, crossing the road and traversing the cultivated countryside.
4•Continue under the plantations of pines, firs, and larches of the Foulnière Massif, then descend until the hamlet of La Lotière.
5•Turn left onto the main street. Just before the exit of the hamlet, turn left and go uphill on a white path. You will gradually descend to Chaux-la-Lotière via this peaceful country road. Turn right onto the main street to return to the swimming pool parking lot.
