Chapel Villard

- At the chapel, turn right and exit the hamlet through the double hedge of 63 sequoias listed among the remarkable trees in Burgundy.

- Fork left and follow the D69 then D48 for 1.5 km towards VILLENEUVE-EN-MONTAGNE.

- Take the small road on the left before the buildings of the Saugerie (the year 1968 is inscribed on a roof). It leads to the hamlet of Bois.

- At the first house, turn right. At the next intersection, a visit is essential to the Pont du cul de chat under which the Prédon stream flows peacefully. A wild and shaded path leads there (1 km round trip).

- On the way back, continue down the road, pass through the buildings of the small quiet hamlet, and take a steep path at the very end.

- Cross over the stream and climb up on the other side to reach the intersection of famines.

- By turning right (1.5 km round trip), the path leads to the hamlet of Prédon nestled in a rural setting. Its stream flows to join the Dheune river along the central canal.

- Return to the famines and then head towards La CHAPELLE-VILLARD along a path lined with meadows.

- Turn left onto the paved road and return to the starting point.

- Before leaving this place, push open the door of the church which contains in a Gothic burial niche, the effigy of Bishop Berthaud of la Chapelle, who died in 1333, whose benefits are still present in the memory of the local inhabitants.
