The Heritage Trail

In front of the Tourist Office, listen to the point dedicated to the Ecclesia, Heritage City. Go around the building to reach the house of the Bailiff. Descend to the square towards the Basilica of Saint Peter and the statue of Saint Columban. Enter the basilica to contemplate the organ and its case, the nave, the chapels, and the stained glass windows. Cross Saint Peter's Square and at the intersection, opposite, admire the house of Francis I. Turn left to reach the Abbey Square. On your left is the Lace Conservatory of Luxeuil-les-Bains. Walk through the cloister then join Victor Genoux Street, which you will descend on your left. You pass in front of the Abbey of Luxeuil. You can enter the honor courtyard if the main door is open. Go around the Abbey to reach the Rue des Lavoirs. Arriving at the intersection with Henry Guy Street, cross the road to reach a path that runs along the Morbief canal and the camper van area and leads you to the Pond of la Poche. Go around the pond on the left and continue to Saint Columban Street. Cross the road and continue on Saint Anne Street towards the cemetery. After the bend, to your right are the Gallo-Roman potters' kilns. Go around the cemetery and continue on Saint Anne Street to reach Carnot Street. Turn right then immediately left towards the thermal establishment. Continue for 50 meters on the Avenue des Thermes. Then turn back to return to Carnot Street. Continue straight ahead to admire on your left the Tower of the Echevins and on your right the House of Cardinal Jouffroy.
