Coming from the Ballon d'Alsace, this GR (long-distance hiking trail) crosses the Jura department from North to South over 225 km through the Vignoble du Revermont. From Dole, the birthplace of Louis Pasteur, or from Salins-les-Bains to Saint-Jean d'Etreux (next to Saint-Amour), this GR traverses the Jura vineyard passing through some of the most beautiful towns in the department: Salins-les-Bains, Arbois, Poligny, Lons-le-Saunier, Saint-Amour, Château-Chalon, and Baume-les-Messieurs...
