Towards the pastures of southern Morvan

Discovery of the pastures and forests of the South Morvan by launching from the Col du Rebout, at the foot of Mont Beuvray and the archaeological site of the ancient Gallic oppidum of Bibracte, with its museum. Upon leaving the Bibracte museum parking lot, turn left towards Glux en Glenne (be cautious of traffic).
L’Eschenault: At the first junction, go straight towards Moulins Engilbert via D18. Magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and Mont Beuvray.
At Puits, turn left onto D27 and descend towards the La Roche valley, bordered by meadows. Again, left onto D507, do not leave it to cross Petiton. Go around Beuvray via Montvernot, straight ahead at Crot des Hâtes, continue until Treux. View of the Château de La Roche, which overlooks the valley at Larochemillay.
Turn left, then immediately right to ascend to the village of Larochemillay.
Larochemillay: go back down and take D192 to the right. Continue straight three times until Ettevaux.
Ettevaux, beautiful château, turn left, then take the first road on the right twice. Take the small road on the left then the first on the right. Go around the Château de Villette on the left then turn right towards Poil. Château du Mousseau.
Turn left, direction Poil, mill and pretty little church. Don't forget the souvenir photo in Poil!
After the church, turn left then immediately right towards Corcelles. Go straight, with the Cognières pond on your right. Pass in front of Château Concley, then the Palissade, on the right. Then take the first right, passing through Montandé, the Bas du Jeu (château de Jeu), Maison Neuve, turn left. Follow D114, pass in front of the Poisson pond, (pond of the Gauls).
Poisson pond, continue straight until Saint Léger sous Beuvray (shops). In the square, turn left onto D3 towards Bibracte. Last effort, climb 2 km to Bibracte. Go straight, do not turn in Poil, pass through Corlon, the Bise à l’âne, the Poirier au Chien. The museum parking lot will be on your left.
