The Paths from Above

Take the D88, pass in front of the grocery store, then go 50m before taking the path on the right (GRP and PR). After 1 km, turn left (exit the GRP), go 200m. Upon reaching the D88, cross over to join Varin. In the hamlet, pass in front of the cross and turn right to follow a path that climbs for 2km via the Ruée de l’enfer to the hamlet Les Miens. At the cross, turn left onto the small road. Exiting the hamlet, take the small path on the right; you will reach the road again. Cross it and take the path straight ahead, following it for 1.5km to arrive at Montcimet. At the first houses, take the dirt path on the right, and after 350m, you will reach the D88. Continue left for 250m then turn right. Follow the paved path, passing by the chapel. On the left, continue on the dirt path for 1km then turn right towards Orme de Brévoigne. Follow the path for 1.2km then turn right to go to the Creux. Cross the hamlet and pass in front of the cross. After 50m, turn right to join the road. Cross it and take the path straight ahead for 1km. Upon reaching the intersection, at the cross, turn right, then continue straight for 1.3 km. This section is common to the GRP. Cross over the bridge of the island of Elba and turn right to take the steep path. Arrive back at the village, the starting point.
