From the Monts Chevreuil and de la Fâ, the view embraces the Val Lamartinien. Alternating with the vineyard landscapes dotted with typically Mâconnais hamlets, oak-hornbeam forests, calcareous lawns with steppe orchids, and the boxwood of Mont Chevreuil shelter a protected flora. The Château d'Escolles (14th century), burned in 1576, evokes the tumultuous times of the wars of religion.
Caution: degraded markings on certain sections, use the GPX track as a priority!
