The small characterful Comtois town 3.2 km

1• From the parking lot at the exit of Fondremand, head towards Maizières, descend into the village via the main street.
2• Then go back up via the Rue du Château. At the end of 80 m, climb the stairs on the right. Go around the church and then return to Rue du Château. Turn right. Pass the intersection of the Château and continue straight until the calvary. Turn right onto a small road.
3• Take the dirt path to the left, and then very quickly a trail that runs along the fence, before climbing into the woods of Côte. Pass the winemaker's cabin called "caborde" and continue to climb this fairly steep slope.
4• Turn at a right angle to the left. Continue in the underbrush to reach the viewpoint (picnic table). Continue on the path that descends slightly.
5• Descend to the left via a trail to emerge lower down at a crossroads of paths. Continue left, reach a fork with two agricultural paths. Take the right one to find the junction marked with a cross.
6• Descend to the right to reach the source of the Romaine in the village.
