Morogeoise Walk

- The starting point offers a beautiful view of CHALON and the Saône plain. The hamlets of MOROGES crossed during this walk are located on either side of the "expressway".

- Descend the road to the right of the cemetery and turn left at the entrance to Vingelles.

- Follow the path to the left, find the communal road, and pass under the RN80.

- Take the narrow street of Cercot and turn left.

- In 45 minutes, a botanical trail leads to the summit of Mont Avril (see at the washhouse of Cercot). At an altitude of 421 m, there is an orientation table and a 360° view.

- Follow the road to the left at the exit of the hamlet.

- Climb the path to the right after the sign indicating the washhouse of Mortières.

- Take the paved road on the left, cross the D170, follow to the right the path that rises, and cross cultivated lands.

- The path is bordered by hedges and pastures, take a left then head towards SAINTE-HÉLÈNE at the intersection of "La Croix cassée".

- Turn left twice at the hamlet of Chambroye and follow the path that descends to the Ferme du Champ Liart.

- Take the road on the left that leads to SAINTE-HELENE and passes near the Guye spring.

- Cross the square then fork left towards Le Pertuisot.

- Continue straight on the road then the path, pass again under the RN 80. The path bordered by hedges leads to the west entrance of MOROGES. Take the D69 on the left, pass to the right of the Fissey square, cross the village, and find the church and the starting point of this circuit.
