The Via Francigena is a cultural route of the Council of Europe since 1994 connecting Canterbury to Rome. It follows an ancient pilgrimage route of Sigéric. In Haute-Saône, this 77km long path crosses villages where one can find supplies and accommodations in guesthouses, bed and breakfasts, or hotels, as well as information points in tourist offices.
