This walk takes you through Le Vernois, the Byards and Voiteur vineyards. These vast amphitheater-like vineyards are magnificent and sunny. A short detour to the belvedere and its orientation table offers a splendid view of the Vernois vineyards. You can admire the landscape at 180°, with the ruins of Arlay Castle and the Bresse in the distance. This walk is an open-air history book. You will tread the geological timeline of the Triassic-Jurassic period, a chapter of 75 million years.
