Slate Hiking and Legends

Traversing this circuit means combining the beauty of the landscapes of our valley with the knowledge of slate. This circuit forms a loop towards the Haybes forest, the Mohron stream, and the Hauts Buttés road. Six sites are highlighted: the Labotte mill, the Mohron stream, the slate quarry of Fond d'Oury, the small bridge, the prospecting holes, and the camp of Hesses. A great opportunity to discover the richness of the slate heritage of the Fumay and Haybes basin. The slate activity is outlined through 5 themes, illustrated on interpretation panels and reconstituted by the entrance of an old adapted slate quarry.
