Easy until Raucourt. A climb (about 3 km) to Maisoncelle, then a descent to Chémery. In the valley until Vendresse. In the woods up to Sapogne, with a fairly easy ascent. Return through the Meuse valley, Pont à Bar, Donchery, and Avenue de la Marne. (Note, the last kilometers are on a somewhat busier road). The route of this circuit is given as a guide. To carry out this hike, it is preferable to have the IGN map 1/100000 (green series) no. 5 Charleville-Mézières-Maubeuge.
