Walking - 4.5 km - 1h. Make the tour of Vieil-Étang de Bairon, a 105-hectare site classified as Natura 2000, highly sought after by birds. This 4.5 km walking loop will take you to Louvergny, where the Bairon stream feeds several water bodies. By following the advice and explanations on the signs, you may observe remarkable species such as a Eurasian coot, a great crested grebe, a northern shoveler, a grey heron, or even a great egret. An ornithological observatory will help you not to miss their comings and goings. The area is also home to frogs, bats, butterflies, and other remarkable snakes. Practical info: easy level - starting from the dam - marked "Natura 2000 trail". Be vigilant during hunting season, and inform yourself before setting out.
