On the outskirts of Romanswiller, come discover the developments made at the end of the 19th century by Otto Mencke, a German engineer who became a forest ranger. Let yourself be lulled by the song of the Mossig, follow the Ziegbach canal which feeds the Mencke artificial waterfall, then climb to the Heidenschloss to admire the panorama over the valley before continuing to the Rotfels.
