This walk is themed around potash and takes you around one of the few mining squares that has preserved its winding tower, the Théodore mine. The route leads through fields, woods, and the towns of Wittenheim, with a stop at the memorial dedicated to the 827 victims of mining accidents, as well as at the "Romanian monument" and the remnants of the former convent of Schoenensteinbach.
