This hiking circuit starts at the Rothau train station and takes you through beautiful rolling landscapes, vast forests, lakes, and crystal-clear streams. Throughout this route, you will have the opportunity to explore the ruins of Salm Castle, an ancient count's fortress built in the early 13th century. You will cross several small streams that wind through the forest before reaching the charming village of Quelles. The hike ends at the starting point at the Rothau train station, where you can rest and savor your adventure while enjoying a coffee or a refreshing drink in one of the local cafés!
