The Route
This circuit, starting from Fessenheim, will take you through the Hardt forest, the second largest forest massif in Alsace, along shaded forest paths. You will reach Ottmarsheim where you can visit its famous octagonal Romanesque church, the "Abbatiale Saints Pierre et Paul." You will navigate the country paths that connect the small towns along the Rhine and won't miss a stop in Bantzenheim to visit the rare collections of the Rhine motorcycle museum.
This is a "nature" itinerary that combines the discovery of pleasant sites, sometimes at the edge of the wood and sometimes along the canal.
