Cambete Circuit

Walking and cycling loop mainly using paved paths, this circuit along the water invites you to explore the natural and heritage richness between Kembs-Loechlé and Kembs. Between fauna, flora, history, and industrial heritage, each stop reveals a facet of the territory.

With a length of about 8 kilometers, this route crosses the city of Kembs from north to south, favoring small peaceful paths away from traffic. Expect to spend between 2 to 2.5 hours walking it.

Throughout the course, you will discover a farm, meadows where horses graze, charming little bridges, as well as an old lock and remnants of past navigation, witnesses to the local past. Two churches, two water towers, and two cemeteries also line the route, while a unique and remarkable Heritage House will allow you to dive into the unique history of Kembs.
