The Route
This circuit allows you to go around the Glaserberg, one of the two chains of the Alsatian Jura. At the bottom of the steepest slope, the Lucelle marks the border with Switzerland. It passes through the site of the former abbey, which comes to life a bit through its Baroque furniture, scattered since the Revolution in the churches of the surrounding area. On the other slope, the nascent Ill powered an impressive number of mills, reminders of a rural world that has forever disappeared.
