This hiking circuit starting from the Tourist Office takes you immediately to discover the Wangenbourg Fortress, perched on its rocky spur and welcoming you into its vast enclosure (40 x 60m). You can access the top of the 24m keep (open from April to October) and enjoy the panoramic view at 360°.
Through a small bucolic path, you will cross the Mossig river, blocks of Pink Sandstone from the Vosges at Kittelfels, to arrive at the Freudeneck Castle (which is under restoration). Continuing on your path, you will pass by Rotfels (picnic area) and make your way back to the center of the resort in Wangenbourg.
